REAL/Professional sample layering is not able in MPC since 2000XL... How the f*ck I´m gonna layer if I can´t filter the layers separately ? I don´t even call it sample layering... It´s almost unusable. Is rare the cases when you can layer a sample just on the top of another changing just volume and not filtering...

@dunego SIMULT PAD

use simult2 on OS2XL.

I agree it should have come as stock on akaios. What were they thinking -.- oh yeah, Nukai don't think anymore.

Wow ! Awesome ! I didn´t know that feature on JJ. Finally I´ll be able to do some layering on the MPC.

@jimmie

Yeah, is ridiculous how the Akai OS is ovepasted. Not to talk about the hardware quality that I´m very suspicious about.

One of the only features that I think JJ should have and the Akai Os have, is the feature of the pad change it´s attack and filter according to the velocity. Very useful when u want a more organic feel for the drums without having to do it with 5 pads for each sample.

sorry for my ignorance, but
how many similt ( layers) pads u can have by triggering just one pad on JJOS
and would it also work for INStrument programs like velocity layers on other AKAI samplers ?

i want to throw 4 snares on 1 pad and adjust the asdr settings on each of the 4 in a different way but on the same pad

so you can do this on 1 pad in the other mpc's?

i've only used the 1k and 2500

which mpc's naturally do this without 3rd party OS?
