OS2xl 1.38 For MPC 1000 and OS2xl 1.37 For MPC 2500

Up a day early?

Guess I'll need to download and check out if it does what I hope it does...

things that I appreciated.

1) correction in step edit of ghost cells (good)

and

2) added as automation Qlinks?? (Bad, better in the mixer).

3) in one bar screen edit, retarded movements jog wheel (bad).

4) elimination of function: assignment Q1 and Q2 to swing, and shift in Tc (this is horrible).


so, back to os2 now.
I'm imagining it will be inconclusive, this is having the same color and the way that of jj sequencer.

Jog wheel movement issue probably because it defaulted to the wrong jog wheel setting. You can fix that in options I think.

On the 1k, there is the option to use two different 'wheel' types, not sure if it's the same on the 2.5k. Sorry, thought that is what you were talking about.

Really good stuff!
Now I can mess about with q-links again on a per-pad basis without having to move pad events to another track (only took 5 seconds... but still)

Is anyone else finding
1 - recorded PAN q-linking are effecting other tracks?
2 - when you cycle through Q-Link fx, the mpc is 'remembering' your LEVEL and PAN settings (i.e. after you leave LPF etc the LPF defaults to OFF)?

I'm a little unsure about which FX combos allow you to record 2 FX and which FX over-write the previously recorded FX..

Not sure about this release...may revert to 1.37

love the new update but still imma wait til the NEXT update to go through these bugs....... on 1.37
