im a happy 2500 user but i have always just used the stock OS. i am interested in the JJ OS, but id like to hear some peoples thoughts on the JJ OS vs the stock OS and also, im not sure if the XL version is worth paying for vs. the free 3.10.... any thoughts?

Well there's a bug that makes it jump to random screens sometimes that's irritating...also I wish the grid edit had a few more features...

Regarding grid edit it's a different approach in OSXL. In Akai os and JJ OS1 you're filling squares in a level of zoom which depends on the Time Correct. In OS2XL you have independant level of zoom and it's very useful if you use no quantize.

Yes it has basic chords, M, m, m7 etc.... and you can program your own chords and save them as presets, just don't forget to resample afterwards cause those big chords eat up a lot of plyphony real fast.

BTW, stop considering, just buy JJ, you'll love it. You'll spend less time on the computer and more time on the beat.
