losing data

ok , i have had my mpc for just under two years and feel it is tiem to update to JJ OS...
if i use my CF Card that currently holds all my beats to update the OS will all these beats be lost when i load the JJ OS ?

also is there anyone that has the JJ OS that wouldnt recommend switching to it from the Akai OS ?

A simple solution would be just to back up the data then do the update.

And no one is going to recommend the Akai os over the JJ os. The Akai os sucks.

or get a second card

but you shouldn't lose anything anyway - you load JJOS onto the MPC, replacing the OS on the MPC, you don't replace data on the CF card
