playing the microkorg xl to an mpc1000(JJOS) Track.

What should i set for the midi on my mpc1000? i want to play my microkorg xl directly on an mpc track. do i need 2 midi cables and 1 audio cable?

you have to set the right midi out channel in the mp and in the mk
the mk default midi channel is ch 1

thanks.!! i did that. but strange, i hear the mk just rarely on my mpc. got all volumes up. why???

i think it's because the adsr filters on the micro
try increase the release (duration of the note) and set the attack to 0

the problem was that the mixer on the mpc was set to digital not to analog.

i've never tried the mpc1000... i got a mpc2000 classic (and a microkorg too)
