F1(PadPgm) addition

The program of an active track can be switched by hitting the pads.
Refer to manual.

2. It is an On/Off mode addition to Pad to MIDI out CC.

Press pad = CC value127
Release pad = CC value0
Refer to manual.

"Pad event to other track" window
Behavior of F3 (MULTI) was changed.

If F3 (MULTI) button is pushed, the pad event of A01-D16 will be moved to tracks 1-64.
Moreover, the same program is automatically assigned to all the tracks.

That update is named 1.44 for the 1k.

Wait a minute,, I just realized a problem with the Move Pad to Track 1-64 feature. What happens if we are using simult pads for sound layering? Does it break up the band?

Am I the only one using simult pads?

this is an awesome feature for live jamming/remixing!!

not that exciting for new features....................
all i can is " we need a feature that a TRACK can be played in reverse "..........

heh... the funny thing is, i first made this request about a year ago and got no response. but just a few weeks ago i brought it up again in a discussion on this forum in a response to somebody, and then a week later it shows up in the os!

so i think JJ is definitely checking out these forums and seeing what we're requesting. either way, great job, JJ!

I've requested a TAP feature in loop mode a few times, but I've never gotten a response. I thought this would really make the Mp a real alternative to a roland groovebox. The pads allow you to enter the data on the grid, while the tap button allows you to enter info in real time. There are several buttons that have no use in loop mode, so I thought one of them could be used for that. I also thought a built in tuner would kick ass... I'm writing to JJ, by the way...
Just about the only thing that hasn't made its way to xl that originally kept me with ver. 2 is the tune option in the pattern style sequencing. Can't really remember right now what the page is called, but it's like the arpeggio page. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Oh, and the ability to toggle between forward, reverse and alternate with the touch of a button when looping. Nothing really worth writing now that I think about it. Well, aside from the tap button option.

I think that some folks that like your idea, could've send their feature req. after reading your post even without letting you know that. Than, if jj gets at least few requests from different people, he's much more into ..considering.. a feature. I did that many times when I thought the feature was wise. Good idea needs a little push forward
