Ok so here it is . I have a mpc1000 with JJos2 4.99. What is happening is i play all my sequences in the song and whichever track happends to be selected will have its pan changed to R50 ... its very frustrating. Should i try to reinstall the os? if so how do i do that properly?

back up ya hard drive first if want to re-installed. and yes sounds like a good idea to trouble shoot it that way cos its a bit of a weird thing happening there. Unless its operator error :D

No midi connected... Q link is not set to pan.... its set on some LFO filter stuff. But yea .. i also was reading on lots of other threads about this but no one had an answer.. but its out there.. the truth is out there.. I just hope to god its not a hardware issue . the unit is only 3 months old and and I am moving to Berlin from Canada in 2 weeks so if its hardware i don't know how im going to send it in to get fixed.. anyone know any good akai dealers in berlin that deal with warranty stuff?..

You think that can mess up the whole project? is there a way i can see that in the step edit or anything?.. it makes me very nervious, but again its only with this one song so far. ive been trying to get it to happen in other songs by pressing overdub and doing q like fades with filters and such. but its not messing anything up. So i danno . its just strange that i could press the arrow buttons and it was altering the pan of a program.. i would watch it happen in the program>out/fx
but only if the seq was playing...

I already tried that. still nothing. its more like a glitch because it will change as i hit the arrow keys and other keys . and it sets to totally different pans .. arrggg .. i wish someone had the answer
