Problem after upgrading to jj.os 3.12

I was with 3.08 and then for some reason I decided to try the 3.12 but now the screen's contrast is messed up and the response time to the data wheel and the cursor is slow. I tried changing the contrast but it won't change. Is there anyway to fix it or go back to 3.08? If I can't fix the problem, is it worth it to get to pay for OS2 or OS1?
