cant read my mpc after installing jj os 1

i just installed the newest version of jj os 1 for the first time. for whatever reason, it made the font on my mpc 1000 almost too light to read, almost see through. anyone else with this problem? how can i fix this?

Adjust contrast by holding down stop plus data wheel.
