Couldnt find the answer: is possible to import (or convert) akp chromatic sample bank (S5/6000) in MPC1000 JJOS?

No. You can load the samples and manually map them into an INST program. The newest verson of JJ has an automapping feature (non-overlap mode) if the samples are named appropriately.

Ok, then no go. I thought for a moment that I could eliminate my trusty emu sampler... (its scsi disk is pretty noisy)
