Effects in xl 2.0

I dunno if ive just done something really stupid but since ive gone to xl 2.0 my effects dont seem to turn on.
For instnce ill record a kick drum and put it on pad b01 then goto the mixer and set fx send to 1, then ill go to effects pannel and set fx 1 to eq and it has no effect at all, even when i change the value allot theres no difference. Ive never had any problem like this before! Anyone got any idea?

Well ive had a look around and it turns out that i cannot add effects from the effects send tab in the mixer anymore. instead i have to do it under Program > Out/Effects tab. Not that this is a problem but im surprised that now one else has mentioned it or hd a problem with it? Can someone confirm that this is not just me?

For a DRUM program in MIXER you have to set L/OUT to ST if you want to assign effects from the FXSEND mixer tab.
All INST programs always use the track mixer.

All pads are set to go to the Track Mixer by default now.

I gotta say, I'm very impressed with the layout of the track mixer in the programs, etc with this new version of JJOSXL. It always confused me before, but it's a great thing now it's layed out so well.

Also, instead of going into your Program OUT tab you can just go to MODE + PAD04 (The track mixer) to do the same thing quicker.
