My New 1k with jj os is TRIPPIN

Im a 500 user,who called myself moving up to a 1k with jj os.
I thought i found a pretty good deal on ebay with a newer black 1k with upgraded pads,corx sensors and jj osxl.
So i finally get it,open the box and this thing is frickin beautiful...but when i fired it up,it started scanning the memory,and when it was done it said the memory had Failed
So next I tried to put in a CF card and it went straight to a screen which keeps flashing that says
MPC 1000(16mb installed)
JJ OSXL VER . :1.43
and below that is says
TAP TEMPO + POWER ON-->OS1
I tried everything it says,and evrything I know to get it to boot up....but it aint working

So is it just dead memory?
Did I get Burned?

Im headed out for a while....its 78 in Phoenix and im bout it enjoy it... haha
maybe later I'll take the 128mb ouuta the 500,and see if it makes difference....but for now....im a lil bummed..

Well, there ya go. It's not too often when the MPC spells out what is wrong with it
Hopefully new ram will fix it and nothing else is wrong.

Man I really lucked out
when i remove the panel that houses the memory,it wasnt even plugged in
I dont know if thats how they ship em of whatever....but i popped it in and instantly 128mb!!
Its gonna be real hard to go back to the 500
Just messing around with the 1k seemed so natural...and the features on this bad boy....WOW!!
