"Full Level" mode not functioning right

What up... I recently went to the JJOS 3.12 from the akai OS and everything is completly different (obviously) but one thing I cannot figure out is why my "full Level" mode is not functioning the way it should. Instead of giving full levels on my pads, it changes other qualities.. such as a layered sound rather than a normal full level sound. Anyone can tell me how to fix this? thanks!

Obvious question - did you held ERASE button while starting your mpc after you installed 3.12 didn't you?
