I just happened to flash my MPC with a corrupted JJXL firmware file.
I said to my :self f***, I've just bricked my MPC
I was so glad to find this thread.
Trying to boot from a big CF card is definitely an issue. even fat 32 formated.
I had to copy the akai firmware on the original akai 128meg CF card to be able to boot from it.
Then free JJOS in order to load the latest JJOS XL firmware file.
