song mode problem.

This is a strange one as I use song mode for every beat I make....

so, I do prob what lots of other people do.-

make a sequence with each sound on diff tracks-

copy the sequence about 5 times-

go through each sequence and track mute various bits-

arrange my sequences in song mode-

press convert and set it to track mutes ignored

this works perfect for me every time apart from tonight, when I convert to song my sequences get all jumbled up YET when I preview the song in song mode (mode+song) the song is just how I want it. I double checked that I had pressed mute tracks ignored and even created a new song to be sure.

The only thing I can think is that I overloaded os2xl because I made an intricate beat with lots of changes, I had to copy some programs 2 or 3 times to have one on low pass and I needed certain sounds to be note on so I could control the duration of the last note so it didn't carry into the next sequence once in song mode etc. I also used the q-links on 3 programs with lots if lfo an filters etc.

Basically it ends up sounding nothing like the song does when previewed in the song field.

Anyone had this happen to them?

..and you have different programs in few sequences on the corresponding track. Song mode will not convert your proogram changes. I would just insert PC in step edit in those places before or after conversion.
