Hallo,

I am fighting with something weird. Its a random rythm glitches that happen when playing long sequences. I use my MPC1000 (black, max RAM, it happens in all JJOSes) as a synth sequencer and drum machine in my band live shows and I had at least three times big problems with some songs choking up after some time of playback. These songs are just long sequences (like 140 bars) - songs made classicaly in the song mode and converted to sequences. Also the rythm at the end sometimes suffers. I didnt have this kind of issues with my 2kXL. But it was like the MPC got heavily drunk - slow-fast-slow etc. The problem did not disappear after rebooting or starting from the beginning. I am unable to recreate it - it just happens sometimes. Its a big deal for me because stability and reliability are THE factors I started to use MPCs for. I have also my own live PA show where I use only up to 8 bar patterns and never had much such problems. I am wondering if its just the machine faulty or OS error. Anyone got something similar?

My friend use to have this prob with his 1000 all the time. He was cutting up his loops/samples etc on his laptop (pad187???) and then transferring to his mp. On live gigs his shit would start going crazy, dropping beats etc.
I notice it from time to time on my 2.5 when i'm in certain screens - trim or record occasionally will 'bump' the beat or sample out until i return to main screen...
Are you making you track entirely in the mp?
