Hello
Does OSJJ 2XL allow to do a "FADE" between the Velocity Layers ?

Some months ago, I converted a Rhodes samples pack (with 3 velocity layers : vel 1 to 89, 90 to 100 and 100 to 127) into a MPC program.
But the problem was that if I play the same note with velocity 89 and then the same with vel 90 , it will sound VERYYYYYYYYYY DIFFERENT...

1/ Does OSJJ 2XL has a fade between Layers feature ?
2/ Is there a good Rhodes samples pack with different velocity layers for MPC ? Even if it's not free, I'm very interested.

Okay , thanks.......

So do you mean that there is no solution for that problem with MPC :

Velocity 1-89 = SAMPLE1
Velocity 90-99 = SAMPLE2
Velocity 100-127 = SAMPLE3

If I play a note with vel 89 and then the same note with vel 90, it will sound very different ....
(exemple :a sampled Rhodes instrument)

:?:

No solution for this ?

in a DRUM pgm, yes.
in an INST pgm, no
dont get hung up on the name of the program type. DRUM pgm is not just for drums. every sliced sample i make goes in a DRUM sample. INST pgms are good if you don't have external modules or VSTis, but if you do, they're far limited by comparison.

I just found the PGM file that you have done around the samples that I had posted some months ago :D Now that I have OS2XL, I can test this PGM :)

But there is no fade between velocity layers...... :?
If I play with a velocity around 2 layers, there is some huge "step" between the velocity layers...

It there any solution for this ? Some "fade" between layers ?
