One pad trigger another pad/sample

I recently picked up an mpc2500 with JJ OS2 1.20 and I'm trying to figure out how to layer drums the way I want them.

What I want for example is to have a snare on pad 1 and when I play pad 1 it should trigger another snare I've assigend to pad 2. I've been searching for a way to do this but I can't find it, can anybody help me? Thanks in advance!

According to the link you'll get the crippled behavior of SIMULT (you don't hear the simulted notes during the recording). I don't remember if "SIMULT2" was added to OS2. But if it's not the case you should upgrade to os2xl or os1.
