I have 2 non-destructive samples chopped on 2 different programs (I think thats the only way that works) and I set both to mute group 1 in order for all to cut each other. for some reason this is not working. I am using one for my verse samples and one for the chorus. once the sequence changes my end sample from the verse overlaps the chorus. any suggestions on how to make mute groups work between programs or different non-destructive chopped samples?

thank you,

Hydro

I don't follow...
After creating the 2 NDC programs, just put all the chops into one program.
As far as I've always known, mutes only work from within the same program.

To make it so that your sample doesn't follow through to the next sequence try:

a. tap it in with Note On using a precise duration which stops the sample at the end of the seq
b. hit an empty pad (in the same pgm) at the end of the sequence (or at the start of the next seq) which is set to mute the sample
c. trim the one shot sample so it doesn't keep playing on seq change.

Assign the sample, change the chop field.
