I want to go back to how the pads felt before I got JJOS and I can't for the life of me figure out how to uninstall JJOS.

I've tried holding erase when powering on and it just resets internal memory presets.

and I tried using the search about a trillion times

Wanting to go BACK to the Akai os is the first indication you did something wrong. Did you even adjust pad sensitivity after the install?

Its the third worst mistake after not turning the power on or hooking up your midi cables to the speakers.

I'm gonna leave this topic open, even though I locked a million of them. The reason why?
To encourage new users not to lose their patience (even if jokes are being made about it).
I'm not trying to be cruel, but the point is that when all is said and done, whoever decides not to give up can basically look back on this and laugh at is as well. The JJ OS really is more intuitive than it may seem at first. So be patient and make the most out of it. The paid version has more pad adjustment settings, from what I recall.

I've been using JJOS for months and I love it to death but I'm sick and tired of having no velocity between 1 and 127. Currently the pads are from 23-25 and go any lower and you get virtually no response. **** around with "level on" and you get that stupid wired-on-crack snare roll effect.

make sure you adjust ALL the parameters in the OTHER -> PAD screen.

velocity sensitivity, pressure sensitivity, and (response) curve. don't sleep on curve. it might be the problem you are having.

also, go to the PROGRAM screen -> AMP tab. turn the VELO setting all the way down to 0 for the greatest range of sensitivity (lots of people miss this).

check the manual on JJs site for more info on how these things work.
