Hello,
I can't really figure out how to use sustain pedal with my mpc:(;

where i try to find a solution for sending midi note on/off via switch pedal and it seems not working properly on jjos5.56
please advice,
does jjos5.56 is so crippled i won't be able to use footswitches ?
It's quite important for me as i play bass and guitar, and want to sample 'on fly' ( i use kaoss3 as main sample-phrase recorder, casue mpc wij 5.56 os has not so great direct audio recording option - you need to fully stop sequence and then record audio, where i don't want to stop music, just punch in/out)
i managed to connect kp3 to mpc via midi, but seems mpc doesn't send note on/off via footswitch!:/, it sends via pad, which doesn't help....
anyway i'd like to use footswitch and foot pedal (i know - 1 option is to get behringer fcb101 which is full midi in/out and then plug it to mpc/daw) but i don't want to spend another over 100 quid for just a pedal...
so i try use sustain pedal with mpc - no luck so far..
if anyone of jamming musicians, has any experience with footswitches/pedals
please let me know, as it is quite important part of my workflow now
