I just tried to figure out how to learn a completely different OS,
all I got is a terrible hand script from jj website; this is not manual for learning obviously,
is there any place when i can learn new jjos??
as system is so massively expanded, there's no way to learn it without a good written manual

have a nice one

the online manual can be an excellent reference if you know what you're looking for. if you don't know the jargon, however, it can be useless (like any manual).
is there anything in particular you find confusing about it (give us a quote or link)? if you are confused about a concept or function, ask about it here and we will explain it.

in all fairness a good number of people have learned this system with the resources given. you're not giving yourself enough credit, you can totally learn this with or without the forum, a manual, etc. you can do this, easily. just give it the time and enthusiasm it requires.

yup

dont totally give up on the online manual. although sucky at times, it atleast lists 98% of the features.

also, dont mind block yourself. it is a new os, but its intuitive and really builds on classic mpc function anyways. same concepts you learn or know about old mpc's will still apply. yeah, some menus will be differant, layout a bit differant, but the core shit is still there. still program menu still there, record menu, window button still works, etc.

im just saying if you have a question, even tutorials, videos, or resources on older mpc can still be helpful.....its when you get into the more complicated stuff it becomes hard like NDC, and audio tracks, grid mode, etc.

eventually youll get it, just keep at it and realize, chance are if you dont know h ow to do something, doesnt mean that jjos sucks, its probablly more of a case you just didnt know where something was......

peace.

thanks guys,
I appreciate your support,
must say though new jjos (2.25xl) is a completely different beast!
I bought very first of jjos, long time ago 5.56 (currently)
been happy with it so far, but as example - midi with footswitch works perfectly in os2.25 xl,
and it doesn't in 5.56..
I went through online manual - it's a drag..:)
english is not my first language, so far so many new options - still don't get many of it;
1 thing is sure- new jjos 2.25xl is amazing!
I feel I will get back to my mpc with new energy..;),
I put mpc in the corner some time ago, didn't feel able to make any good 8 bars loop...
I got guitar few days ago, and as it is only instrument I can play - I dust off my mpc and started it again....

thanks and have a lovely day
