greetings
I'm thinking if I could get a similar functionality on the MPC1000.
On the Rm1x there are 16 sections/patterns (analogous to sequences on the MPC1000) each containing 16 MIDI tracks. You can record a 2 bar phrase on track one, then increase the length of the sequence to e.g. 10 bars. When you play back the 10 bar sequence the 2 bar phrase in the first track will loop automatically, so you don't have to copy it 5 times in order to fill the 10 bar length of the sequence. So a phrase is basically like a midi sample that can loop independently of the length of the sequence. I wonder if there is a way to do this on the MPC1000?
I know this is possible with audio samples, but midi....?
