Mpc 2500 jjos2xl sample time

I just bought the jjos2xl and i just noticed that my sample time has been cut by about 60 seconds. I do have the memory upgrade + just about every other 2500 upgrade on the way from mpcstuff... But as of right now i only have 16mb.. So basically im just wondering is it normal to lose sample time when using the jjos2xl or is something wrong?

It's normal to lose a bit of sampling time (more space allowed to "seq free" rather than "wave free"). You will enjoy the memory expansion

Ram is $20 is eBay, unless you are purposely restricting.
