MIDI Clock divide or muliply.

I was wondering if this would be possible.
I love using my Sp-1200 at double speed so lets say tempo 180 bpm on the SP but would like to be able to connect a Roland TR-606 to it and have that running at 90 bpm. I was wondering if it would be possible for JJ to write a conversion that would basically multiply or divide the incoming clock data so that the MPC receives 180 bpm and sends 90 bpm out. I am just not aware of any piece of hardware that does this and if the MPC could do that conversion it would be really awesome for my setup.

I just double the resolution on my 606 to stay in time. It also allows you to program in some funky swing. Another trick is to set your 606 to 3/3 and the bar length to 24 (48 for double rez) for extra funk.

I wonder if jj could implement a midi clock shuffle. I put it in the request thread a while ago. The same idea as the Innerclock Systems gadgets.

Yeah I have been using it in double res and really like the result, it's mostly for some live applications where I would really like it to run at normal tempo.
Check this out though it's way to expensive but pretty cool.

Aye. The InnerclockSystems one is mega expensive too

Imagine if JJ implemented a simple swing/shuffle option to the clock out though.
I have no idea how easy/hard/possible that would be.... but just putting it out there

Put in ur idea to the Feature Request thread... u never know.
