I've searched the forum and r'd the fm to no avail... Could someone please confirm that this is a known issue, or suggest a workaround if I'm doing this incorrectly?

After overdubbing into a looping sequence (punching in with a footswitch), I don't seem to be able to select "NEXT SEQ" or select another sequence from the main screen.

I'm using 2XL on an MPC1000, trying to progress through a series of sequences during live performance, while overdubbing from the pads in real time. If this isn't possible, I'll cut my losses and reconfigure the whole set into one sequence, but I'd love to hear that I'm missing something...

Yes, the issue is that after having overdubbed at all, I can't switch sequences while the MPC is playing. I was not in overdub mode while trying to enter "NEXT SEQ."

I love macros!

Me too, but that one would cut off my loop&hold pads, which otherwise keep looping when the sequence is changed. *shrug* What's gear without tradeoffs anyway?
