applying effects to sequences

im running jjos2xl.so i have my sequence together with all my tracks and samples in place recorded, so i wanna add different effects for different programs on different tracks .. ex. reverb and bitgrind on the drums and delay on my guitar and bass to simulate in stereo... so when i go into step edit and add the effect settings they seem to cut eachother off and are all mixed up in playback...can anyone help me? im a newbie at this ,thanks.

If you want to do that, you need to resample with the effects on.
