hello

sorry for bad english!

i recorded a pattern with 16 bars and 4 tracks.
everything is just for controll synths via midi.
i runs normal until i added a prog change.
result: mpc runs normal to bar 4 and runs the rest without triggering the midi notes.

i cant understand this.

tracks 1 2 3 is for triggering adx1 drums synth und track 4 is for waldorf pulse.
monofonic and short durations.

128 mb and jj os 3.12

maybee someone knows how to solve

cheers

Guten Tag!

Are you sure you added a program change and not a bank select command?

Yeah nice drum machine, I had a MAM tb303 clone for a while...good stuff

Program change will change the program on your adx1 or waldorf synth, so this means it has changed program to something with no sound by the looks of it on what ever of those two instruments has received the program change. Some machines need a MIDI continuous controler data (usually CC 0) bank select message as well. RTFM for both machines. Obviously a programme change will change sound set of the adx1. Actually after reading vintage synth about the adx1 it seems its a analogue drum machine, so i cant see why it would take programme changes. ie, can you save different drum sets?? if its like my analogue drum machine there are no programmes just what is set up as its ANALOGUE.

thanks for the answer

no no no no tha adx1 cant save programs and no prg changes on this.

the prg change was sent to the pulse, its analogue too but can save progs.

the problem is there will no midi data sent out of the mpc.
also when i move midi data in step edit the mpc behaves weird.

i sent an email to akai usa and akai germany, no answer from them :(

i dont know what i should do.....

i suggest JJOS first, just because I have to.
1 instrument at a time please..... they obviously play ok first right, but then you send prog change and they go wrong..
hhhmmmm. like i said check its program change and not MIDI CC, like bank select message, should say in manual and if that dosnt work well
