1. Record a pattern using external MIDI controller to a MIDI track
2. Create pattern from the MIDI phrase
3. Go to a new sequence and set Pad A01 to the pattern
4. Record the pattern
5. Press stop, and hit the pad to listen to the MIDI phrase
6. Press play, then stop right after a different note is played
7. Now hit the pad, did the pattern transpose pitch?

Mine seems to be transposing the pattern based on the last played note. So if I had a MIDI pattern E F, then recorded that, and played it back, pressing stop at the F, then when I press the pad again instead of playing a pattern E F it plays F G.

Bug?

How about moving through time in the pattern mode while playing back? It doesn't seem to work right.

[ Ptrn 1 ] [ Ptrn 2 ] [ Ptrn 3 ]

I have MIDI patterns, and if I hit play-start it plays them in the order, and the bar moves with time. But if I use the location bar buttons to move through the patterns, the MIDI out isn't working immediately so it's silent as you move through each pattern, but then in the middle of the bar you'll start hearing it again, except it's not the right pattern.

So for example, in that 1 2 3 pattern, if I move to the 3rd pattern with the bar button, it'll be silent at first, then all of a sudden start playing some of the 2nd pattern. If I press play after the bar button, then it resets back to the beginning of that pattern I'm in, and it seems to play correctly. But it's not right to have to keep hitting play right after bar < >.

Can someone confirm functionality of the new pad cc/pc assignment outputs? Inserting a cc/pc in step edit works for me as normal, but assigning them to a pad doesn't send anything.

Additionally, after selecting a pattern on the main screen, the selection reverts to the original pattern when the T.C. F1 key is pressed. Will someone try to duplicate?

Thanks.

I just sent a cc on pad 1 worked.Sent a pc on pad 2 also worked. As far as the reverts to the original
pattern JJ states that T.C. does not work in pattern mode.It takes you back to main and program .Not sure if this is what you are asking hope it is of help.PEACE TYPO

Thank you, Typo. Are you on 1k or 2500? The problems I experience are on my 2500.

To hopefully clarify the latter: On main screen, select Pattern mode on a pad, then change the pattern to whatever. Press the T.C. button to enter timing correct, then close the T.C. screen. The pattern I just selected on the pad is reverted back to the original pattern. Possibly a very minor bug. In contrast, pressing the CLICK button does not revert the pattern selection.
