Yesterday I was doing some experiments in Live sequencing & editing, which means that once I hit [PLAY] I wouldn't need to stop it to do certain actions. I came across an issue with MIDI tracks & erasing notes on the fly.
As you probably know, you can hit [OVERDUB] + [PLAY] at any point while the sequence is playing to enable editing. While in this mode, holding down [ERASE] gives you options to delete "currently playing bar" and "all notes". This works as expected for DRUM track, but for MIDI track "all notes" doesn't seem to do anything unless you first stop the sequence and start again.
Also I could just hold down the note (while holding [ERASE]) to delete that specific note from the sequence, but with a synth it doesn't make much sense as it's outputting sound at the same time.
Things are more weird in "Grid view" as there are no "all notes" or "a bar" options given (as there are for DRUM track), so you can't do anything with [ERASE] there.
I did report this as a bug, but now I'm wondering if any1 else has experienced this or is it just me doing things "wrongly"?
