EDIT I have found the right window since writing this post

but this means what i wrote below is what im doing now....I missed a step - the great feature of turning track to sequence
also like how it loops..
oh yeah good idea and implemented well. I think the patterns just use the ones made in loop edit mode right?? cos i was thinking at first i could send a string of CCs over time but loopedit patterns do not allow this. and i dont wanna have to assign heaps of pads to CC values, im not lazy....for programme changes and such static 1 value entries its great. But i really hoped i could use it like simult sequence. Cos it would then a whole other level. Do you know what i mean???
I cant see a way to do it so let me know. Simult sequence is close as well.
Example - I make a sequence with a track that just has 2 bars of MIDI CC data, say your typical filter sweep, and leave it at that, so when i simult sequence the midi data is sent and i get sweep that is in time to the sequence as well..... so i guess I am asking for this to be able to trigger simult sequence or to be able to have the loop edit patterns expanded to include CCs, i cant see the later happening but think a pad to even just a track would make me go off.
I really think this would just be nuts as we could send anything (set up earlier of course) anytime while we play the MPC. Great way to try things out or to play round live... so set up sequences that i can trigger over sequence playing and it just simult sequences a MIDI CC sequence at a hit of a pad. Then it gets better cos we have enough sequences so could fill a bank of all kinda crazy MIDI CC controller data
