actually that was the question.


oh, and is there any "chart" or something on the internet that shows you what actions take up polyphony on the 2500 and how much? i havent quite understood polyphony on my mpc.

The answer is yes.

The basic rule is one stereo sample takes 2 voices. So you can have 16 stereo samples (or 32 mono) playing simultaneously. You can easily figure it out by yourself if you have a look at the polyphony meter in the mode other (pad 10)
