yes!!! i requested this a week or so ago and got the message back from Murai that he had already requested it from JJ as well, so i was hoping it would get implemented.

this is a must for effective use of pattern & pad mode in my opinion. gives you a complete overview of how all the pads are assigned & what they are currently doing. allows you to get a quick view of which patterns are currently playing, and allows you to edit them as well (transpose, track).

this is gonna be great for live jamming. can't wait to try it out! thanks JJ!

Yea I like this request. Hmm did your request also include a way to inject the pattern automatically onto the track because the way it is right now you have to press [rec + play start] on every track that has a pattern playing--no fun. :(

Maybe under [Set No.] or some where else have a "Insert Pattern On" field so all information becomes events on the fly.

A lot of people are sleeping on the pad mode right now. All I can say right now is give it time. JJ hears what we are saying and is trying his best to implement it into the OS.

no, i didn't request anything like that. i haven't even tried recording any pattern data as i've just been breaking up my old sequences into patterns and then just keeping them as pad events only - to jam with on the fly. haven't tried making new sequences out of the patterns yet. you should send JJ the request and see what he says.

Watching football all day...Man N.E Patriots got beat....

I tried out the new OS(3.07) and it seems like JJ made it possible to record all the tracks in at once by pressing [rec+start]. The only thing is it doesn't do is align on 00.00.00 start. For some reason the pattern is offset when recorded.

Maybe an option to keep aligned would do the trick.

The pattern view works great also.
