I dont have that model but nobody has been able to answer you yet so maybe until then you could try the method of doing it on some other models.

in the screen where you edit the sample (trim?) when you scroll to the sample you dont want (making it's waveform show up etc..) push the open window key as if you were to rename it.. there may be the option to delete it possibly. As I said this is likely not quite the case with your model and OS, but it could be there somewhere. Poke around for it.

Yup, it's like that. In trim have cursor on sample-name and hit [WINDOW]. Other way would be to create a "template": turn on mpc, change some setttings (eg. Tempo) to your liking and save entire memory to a folder. Now whenever you need all your ram cleared just load the Project-file.

Yup, thats there.
I just tryed it out. But delete is deleting the sample also from my Card ( i tryed with an obsolete sample)

Na, i get:
purge, delete, rename, close, copy, free.
free only shows the remaining RAM,
delete is indeed deleting the sample

do i miss something or is the OS missing something ?
I guess you mean with "template" a empty "entire Memory" file ? I'l try

thanks

No it doesn't... When you sample, the recording is stored to ram and only once you save it to HD or Memory Card it gets stored permanently. Using "Delete" in Trim-mode is only going to affect your current session / ram. Of course if you delete in Save- or Load-mode your samples are lost forever.

Edit: here goes... :roll:
* Mode + PAD5 -> record whatever and keep it
* Mode + PAD6 -> Trim, edit rename, whatever
* Mode + PAD3 -> Save this (Save a sample mode) to CF or HD (depending on what you have)
* Mode + PAD6 -> Delete sample
* Mode + PAD2 -> Sample's still there to be loaded

Edit edit: :D
If you have a lot of samples then it's faster to load the "template" (project) i mentioned earlier to clear ram

Try This
1.Mode + Pad 7 (Program)
2.Press the Window button--this should bring up the "Sample List" page.
3.F2 Delete--"Delete Sample" page should open
4.F3 All

This should delete all samples in the MPC. Let me know if it works.

evil A Sulli wrote:4.F3 All.

I have "Rename" on F3. Can't see any "all" command.
edit: ahh ok, "all" appears on the next screen.
thanks
