so i don't know if it possible or already is in... btw i see the light and here my idea:


the possibility to split track mute and normal pad program so for example i could be in track mute from pad 1 to 8 and i can play normal pad program from 9 to 16....


so in my case i could mute track 1 to 8 in the meantime i can press pad 9 to 16 to launch samples... would be amazing, at least for my use, and it would safe me to enter track mute on/off continuously

that's a genial turnaround, but i'll miss the track name and i have too much songs to remember all pad/track

i think ur solution works perfectly, but u are stuck into pad program so no way to have name of the track...

i'm not sure i understand you.

using this technique, you can be in any screen or mode as long as you're on the track that is outputting midi to your control input. you can -- ohhh, wait, did you want to be in the track mute screen the entire time so you could see 16 track names at a time?

i want to see track name, cause is no the same "layer" in every song and i can't remember that...
i spent days naming every track in every sequence LOL
