I know it's been removed since os2 and to me it seems the only way in real-time to play with sample start is the q-link. How do you guys do this in os2/os2xl?

I guess one option would be to do 3 fixed chops and layer them 1/3-velocity apart from each other. Now one would only have 3 points / pad instead of possible 127 (100) :/

I love Velo>FilterDepth and would like to see Velo>S.Start brought back!

ps. is it annoying to you to edit q-link in step-edit as it doesn't show the recorded values? Would it be possible to have q-link edited in grid (like midi-CCs)?

I really miss the velocity to samplestart

meee too. more than anything else.

re-"qlink note on" stuff - you can edit this in DRUM GRID. it's the "nv" part when you EDIT a recorded note.

"qlink realtime" stuff you can't edit in a grid. if you ever need to get real precise, utilize your "high" and "low" thresholds and then slow the tempo way down. then when you're done recording, put the tempo back up where it was.

Oh yes! Note Variation's just what I need here, thanks for the tips! 8)

U think we ever get Velo>S.Start back? I guess these removed features were removed for a reason :/

Edit: OMG! Now that I've played with Q-Link in main screen (hit pad and do Q-Link sliding and record when something works) it has opened my eyes for the otherwise overlooked feature! And the ability to edit it for each note in grid! So stoked!
