Hello there, long-time lurker and first-time poster.

I checked the feature requests but couldn't find an entry for changing the specifications of the NDC so that it's also possible to use loops on each region.
For me that would be pretty much the last missing functionality from JJOS.

If anybody already put such a request forward please be so kind to let me know, otherwise I'll do so myself.

yeah, that's the main reason i don't use NDC either. you lose a lot of flexibility.

it's worth a request, i suppose. but i have a feeling there would be a significant CPU hit involved in getting NDCs to loop. i don't really see the need for overlapping chops to be honest so i'm fine just using the regular old chop.

You can extract the sample from the NDC. This is what i do. I spend some time setting the NDC chops and make a program. When I am happy with my chop points, after a few hours or days of fun, I extract the chops. SHIFT + Extract. THis way i can faff about for ages and when really happy with the chop i can extract it, replace NDC one from program and replace it with the extracted one. Cant tell the difference. Is great for work flow cos you get both of best worlds. NDC and normal way. Then change program to loop or set loop in trim. good fun and is only a few extra seconds of work. I been cutting up NWA for the last couple of days and this method kicks arse, cos you still have NDC and can go back if you are not happy and extract again to replace one you are not happy with.

Thanks for the feedback, keeping the original NDC as a backup in case any of the chops need to be extracted again is a good idea.

I'll give it a shot nevertheless and add a request to the sub forum, maybe JJ is able to implement the feature without too much hassle.
