Yes in fact you can, but it takes a bit of organizing though. I will give you short answer, but has been discussed before. OK Astronaut, you have to make sure you have named sequences, and Effects if you want to load more than one so you know which one is which. So yeah save two separate projects with programs named differently, the Effects named differently and sequences named as well. Also make sure you do not have to separate samples named the same because when you load different programs and they have samples named the same, and the samples are NOT the same means second one with same name will have to loaded with different name, to get around conflicts. Do all this first and it will make it very easy to then to do the following.....
Load first project. Then go to load screen and then choose to load a sequence. You can take one sequence out of a ALLSEQUENCES&SONGS file. You will be asked what you want to load, ie Effects or Sequence. Do this twice to load effects and sequence. Then load programs and you should now have two separate projects loaded.... Both as two separate sequences with programs and Effects.

@blipp

thanks for your explanation, but that is much more effort demanding than just switching projects like you can switch

sequences.

The reason I'd like to be able to switch projects like sequences is that I'm using the same programs and pad assignments for
multiple projects that sound the same. So for example I could be recording some guitar riff or a midi sequence, but then I'd think it would sound better in another project, so I'd have save the sample or the midi sequence, then I'd have to load the other project then the midi sequence just to see if they (sample and sequence) sound good in it, then save it and then reload the project I was working on.

If on the other hand you could have multiple projects loaded you could just copy the sample or sequence to the other project see if it sounds good and then continue working on your current project.

Yeah that would be in JJs hands i think. I would just think as its like a global setting incorporating every setting and i dont think you can do two at one unless you make sets like the method above. I dig the idea though, would be interesting
