Does anybody know why the 2500 JJOS doesn't have the EQH and EQL algorithms in the filter section like the 1000 JJOS does?

I thought that the 2500 had this in the JJos2XL version. I use it all the time for deeper kick drums.

Nope. I used to use it all the time when I had my 1000, and I have missed it on more than a few occasions since I switched to the 2500.

EQL(Equalizer Low): Low sound is boost and cut. (This parameter is not in MPC2500)
EQH(Equalizer High): High sound is boost and cut. (This parameter is not in MPC2500)

i was wondering the same thing. if jj didn't implement it in the 2500 there must a reason for this.

i think the only thing the mpc is missing is an eq per pad. i'd really like to ask for that feature. it would make mixing tracks inside the box much easier... or better: possible.

Interesting... I never knew those were missing from the 2500 JJ OS until I read this topic. That's definitely strange. I can't think of any reason why this was omitted since both the 1000 and 2500 use the same processor and RAM. I'm keeping watch on this topic since it's got the best of my curiosity at the moment.

On a side-note, I just had a look at the link you provided and just finding out about the following info...
Note:
The parameters of Filter2 are only Frequency and Resonance.
Moreover, ADSR does not work to Filter2.

I'm guessing this is the same for the 2500 as well.
Hopefully JJ has found a way to improve on the Q-links, 2nd filter, and the missing EQ parameters on the 2500. But I would imagine that's a huge undertaking to achieve due to the limits of the processor. However, it seems that JJ tends to learn more as he continues his work, so there's some optimism in my mind for the future. :)

Yep. As far as I can tell, everything except the EQL/EQH (aside from the hardware differences: buttons qlinks, audio outputs etc.) is identical between the 1k and 2.5k.
