MPC1000 - JJOS 2XL 3.16 -----> Freeze in PROGRAM MODE

Just updated to the latest JJOS 2XL 3.16
got a strange freeze and crash withing 10 minutes of working
while editing pad LP FILTER assignments and playing samples on the pads
inside PROGRAM MODE , not sure if i can recreate the crash
but here is a screen pic :

CPU Address error : Anyone seen this before?

No but make sure you send it to JJ.

That's an entirely different stack dump/CPU address error than what I've seen previously. What's even more peculiar about it is that the F1-F6 tabs are shown at the top of the screen on this stack dump.

Jazzroom, have you ever reset your MPC as per JJ's instructions?
I know sometimes people overlook that and i just want to find out more info in order to complete the process of elimination before you report it to JJ.
Also, have you just upgraded to OS2XL from OS1, OS2, or the free OS?
Let us know the details, incase anything I've mentioned happens to help. I got a feeling you've already done what I've suggested. But I just want to make sure, since I don't have the time to look at your previous posts at the moment to find out if this is the case or not.

no, haven't done any reset, is it a remedy?
I was editing filter inside Prgm mode screen
while pushing pads randomly to prelisten when the crash happened.
Ive updated from previous installation of OS2XL.
I've never had crashes with the 2XL v 2.x.x before Ive installed 3.x.x ...
what shal I try - how to reset MPC?

Hello,

To reset the MPC you have to maintain the ERASE KEY at start-up.
Likewise, you'd better save your system up before erasing.
