Clearing events from tracks in JJOS XL

Hey guys.

I've been looking all over the place, and can't seem to find an answer to my problem.

I've got a song with 8 tracks on it that I mute/unmute with the pads through the "Track Mute" screen. My problem is that with the "Use Events"=ON I seem to have programmed in events that turn half the tracks off at random times. I didn't mean to program the events, and I'm now trying to erase them.
I know the easy fix is just to turn "Use Events"=OFF, but when I turn my MPC on it loads up with "Use Events"=ON, and it would be nice to not have to remember to switch it to OFF every time.

Do you guys know how to erase events within tracks, so that they don't mute automatically?

from the track mute page, hit the ERASE button. it will default to "TRACK MUTES." that'll do it.
