greets

one program is used on more than on track. If you adjust the level of one of these tracks with Q-Link to LVL, it adjusts the level of all tracks that have this prog. on, is this a bug?

Depends do you want it to be a bug or a feature? :) but seriously.. go to mixer mode pad8 and take a look what's going on. The level (realtime) was always (all os') mixer level, and it's a one of program properties, so it will affect other tracks (it's a feature).
Copying a program solves this. Level (note on) is some new variation I haven't seen till now, and seems it works on desired track only.

that's what I do. But it can get cluttered

doesn't this defeat the purpose of having multiple tracks for multiple samples...

I see, but if I have a i.e.: drumtrack splited on few tracks, I would have to go on every track.. and add level separately, even it's the same program? Well it's not even do I like it or no, I don't even use level any more, but I understand you got your own reasons. It would be compatibility issue, and while now some things might seem not reasonable to you that's how things work till now.

You can ask JJ to make level tottaly dependant on track value, like cutoff or other, I don't mind 8) maybe it would be better, but there is recordable mixer and he aligned this to level value. If you want to change this, he would have to make another parameter for mixer or for level, now it's the same thing. That's all I'm sayin'
