Hi all,
I just got my new Behringer Midi Foot Controller in the mail, with plans to control track mutes on the MPC1000 (JJSOS2xl). I've sampled my entire demo and made each song its own sequence- it's loop/beat driven, so it starts with everything but the beat muted and I bring tracks in and out in real time. It works great but I have to press the pads with my fingers and it limits my guitar playing and, to a lesser extent, singing. Thus, the new midi foot controller.
I can't figure it out!
I can't find anyone on the net who has this setup!
All I've been able to do is have the Behringer change the sequence, so I'm on the SOMETHING, but it's definitely not what I want.
For the MPC forum, I would like some advice on how the MPC receives/reads MIDI data. I want to set up the pedals to trigger MUTE GROUPS. In other words, pedal 1 would mute tracks 1, 5, and 7 (or whatever). I'm posting something similar on a Behringer forum. Thanks for any advice you might be able to throw my way.
