after recording q link goes back to "off" jjos 2xl. (help)

when i assign somehting to a q link for example pad a 1, then record the sequence, when im done recording it, the value for q link goes back to off afterwards.

if i want to re-record it, i have to go back to the q link and change it back to what it was before.

am i doing something wrong here or does it reset every time like this?

im running jjos 2xl on my 1k.

yeah i think the reason it is like this is because it is so that the Q-link slider does not over ride what is just recorded so you can hear what you just recorded with out the Q-link slider interfering. make sense. And you only have to hit one button to re-engage said Q-link slider. hows that a problem? yeah sure it wont be same setting if you moved it. so remember start value. this is only issue if you re-record right?

i am just having to click the arrow keys back to the bottom left of the screen and having to scroll back to the parameter i was at to use it again.
am i doing something wrong?

yes it is only an issue that happens after i record a sequence.

*****edit, figured it out, i forgot about the q1 after physical button, i was just tryin to do it with the cursor in the main screen, but i can turn it on or off with that button just fine.
