so having some trouble loading some programs.

i made them using OS1 latest version, upgraded to
OS2XL latest version, reopened the programs fine. then
after correcting things that are incompatible (envelopes
etc) and re-saving them the MPC tells me 'file not found!'
when attempting to load them.

something i'm missing? also got a 'wrong file!' message
previous to this in exactly the same situation. the programs
were saved over older versions of themselves.

just ran the process again and it worked fine with one program
but not with another...

what'd i miss? anybody?

i did search for this on the forums, but i'm damned if i can make
sense of that infernal search engine.

big ups.

not helpful bro...

i opened the programs successfully - resaved them
and THEN they wouldn't open.

the elements that are not compatible i adjusted and
then resaved.

besides it says pretty clearly on the page you posted:

"It is possible to load the sequence produced by XL and a program by AKAI OS, JJ-OS-Ver3.10, JJ-OS1, and JJ-OS2."

thanks but no thanks.

@mikolo - i know right? it almost exactly the same. especially because i
saved the program over an older version - replaced the old file with the
new, i mean. just like the akai bug.

i formatted my HD using JJOS1 - newest version - before upgrading to
JJOS2XL just a few weeks ago. maybe i oughta do that again...

thanks bro
