Does it work great if for instance you try to cut a 4 minutes sample in let's say 5 or 6 parts?
Can you say a bit more about the workflow? Do you have to put the sample before on the pads in the sample tab? If you press the SLICE fkey, does it automatically adjust with the sample on the pads? (hard to explain and figure out without using it sorry). Zoom out fkey? <> keys work? data wheel can spin very fast? Is there a time marker running when pressing a pad? Q links? Reverse?
I'll try to reformulate my main question more precisely. With the current NDC workflow if you don't use a preset program, most of the times you'll create a new program once done (with the drawbacks we know : 32 slices and so on) It's pretty flexible but it's kind of the opposite workflow.
So what about the new function? Is there a relationship between the SLICE fkey and the number of the same sample in the pads? Or do you have to adjust manually and anticipate in case you think you're going to change the number of slices at some point?
Last questions, NDC other drawback was its incompatibility with the looping features, what about this new function?
Will we get this function on the next regular OS?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance
