Reverse button behave in chopping mode osX2XL

hello,

regarding chopp mode: osX2XL
I´d like to know if my Reverse button behaves normal, or if my one is f...ed up.


when i press reverse when chopping in ND chope mode the reverse button is blocking the next pad when i hit that pad to early.
an overlapping press isn´t working, the next pad is muted.
i even think i have to leave a short amount of time between pressing reverse and a next pad to get a sound of the next pad hit

I would really like to know if it´s my MPC1k and the reverse button, or is it the mpc in general or is it JJ OS.

when i chop i can hit any pad,and when i hit the next pad it sounds simmediatedly.
if the press of the two pads is overlapping it is not a problem at all.
Not so with the reverse button. at least at my MPC.
if i press the next pad when the reverse button is not fully released the next pad isn´t sounding

Same problem here. Let's report it.

Personnaly I'd prefer an ON/OFF feature with inverted colors for the REVERS fkey.

It would been even better if the MPC could remember individual settings.

For instance you'd press A01 => REVERS so the fkey become black for A01 and the next time you'd press this pad it would play in reverse mode.

better bring such things to full work than cramp in more features.
for my kind of work this is from ry much importance.

I understand you.
for how i play it would not work out.

I´d love to have a command to mirror all chop segments to bank C+D but reversed.
then it could be played with an aditional pad controller.

Out of curiosity do you have some weirdness with the SLICE "grid" in NDC?

I reported the reverse problem and another issue today. My MPC is acting strange when it comes to NDC.

No, never noticed anything.

but just to understand you right:
i set chop to on, but not slice to on.
i never use "slice"
