So I've got all the pads on banks C and D set to the same mute group.
When I mute track 12 and unmute track 16, the last note on track 12 plays it's full length, instead of being muted by the first note/pad in track 16, though they are set to the same mute group. This leads to bleed over from one track to the next when muting/unmuting live.

Is there a way to have the tracks cut eachother off completely when switching between the two?

Im running JJ OS 2XL v 3.19 on an MPC 1000.

Thanks guys!

Just so we are clear. We are talking about track mute groups applied in the mute window and not the mute groups in GPE.
Also gotta ask why you why you have not updated your OS either? it is at 3.21 now. Also update the free JJOS, as it is part of the XL OS as well.

here is what you are looking for I think....

you want to change the play of one shot sample setting here.
so just hit window button when it is lit up in track mute window
