I havent posted here in years and dusted off my 1000 to play around with the newest OS2 build and notice my drums are echoing. i concluded that its probably looping somehow and i want it to be played as a one shot. I dont know if its a bug or what.

Also cant seem to find the ability to global edit and add a filter to a program to filter a bassline.
Im loving what i see sofar but am very lost here .
sorry if the question is very remedial. im warming up to my 1000 again before I plunge in and get a renaissance.

thanks guys

have you got the delay on in FX. Check that. Probably just got delay on.
When it starts up it tells you on the screen what JJOS you have. Pay attention to it to know which one you have then update it from the JJOS site.
OMG how can you not find GPE. Hit MODE then PAD 7. This will take you to GPE, then hit F3 for filter section. Hit pad to choose sample then select filter in type column. Enjoy

its definitely not an effect. it seems as if shorter samples are given loop points and are somehow looping. when i go to trim the sample and take the looping off there it doesnt fix it. Even in the program sample window there is a LOOP beside the sample and I cant seem to figure out how to remove it. seems like a bug because drums shouldnt default to this..

as far as GPE.. i guess I meant to say how do you change the entire program with WHOLE like the original OS1 feature. i am comparing a lot of what I am trying to do to OS1 which i used to use a lot.

thanks

ok .. I figured it out. somehow drums were defaulting to loop and in trim mode i didnt fully shut off looping.

as far as GPE.. hit shift and its there. should have known JJ would make it intuitive.. and almost dummy proof..
thanks dude
