Problems.

I recently sold my MPC1k with JJ OS2, and bought MPC 2500 with the free JJ OS, Version 3.10.
Now I'm having problems with it, and I really hope its just the OS, not the machine.

So the first problem is;
When I insert my old CF card in the MPC2.5k's memory card slot and I turn the MP on, it starts running but only with a blank screen, it doesn't even show the memory upgrade thing or which version it's running, just a blank green screen.

Is it because I use JJ OS2 formated card with free JJ OS?
If so how do I format the card?

And today, 15 minutes ago I lost my 4 hours of work because the screen froze, same problem.. It only shows a blank screen and I couldn't get my work back..

But anyways, I'm thinking about upgrading to the JJ OS2XL because I really liked the JJ OS2 on MPC1k, but I don't want to buy a new OS before I know if the problem is in my MPC or is it just a JJ OS bug.

Give it a trial with the standard akai OS and see how it performs.. Then you'll know.

Also. To format your card insert it after you've turned on the mpc.. I can't remember the exact location of it cos I dont do it much.. But it's accessed either from the load or save windows. The jjos online manual has pretty clear instructions about formatting cards and hd's
